Martin Mande
Quality Assurance, Monitoring and Evaluation and Project Design.
Martin has a background in community development as well as Humanitarian Law (both policy and practice). He is the founder and director of the South African Refugee-Led Network. This non-profit is dedicated to reform and acting as a focal point for a refugee-led initiative in South Africa, as well as research, education, and action on access to justice.
Martin is passionate about systemic change and collective impact in the real world. He has helped to bridge the gap between evidence, practice, and policy by organizing numerous social cohesion events, facilitating policy tables, and assisting community-led research and program evaluations at various levels.
Kgaugelo Shai
Director of Stakeholder Management/ Communication.
Kgaugelo is the Business Development Director for Significant Consultants, a Management Consulting company that harnesses the human element in business strategy. She is passionate about young people accessing opportunities with the right mind-set and having a seamless transition into the world of work.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource M & Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Brand Innovation. Her experience in Recruitment and Business Development has positioned her to be a significant contributor towards developing a future proof talent.
Graham Oosthuis
Director Financial Management.
Graham is an experienced sport manager and administrator. He studied Sport Management at Damelin and later received honours from the University of Pretoria. While studying at Tuks he was also the Team Manager for the professional team (in the NFD & PSL) as well as the regional and provincial teams. After hours he also coached in the development structures.
After his time at the University of Pretoria Football Club he joined Mpumalanga Black Aces in the PSL. Graham transitioned from the Professional Football and sport environment when he took over CoachLink and helped found local club CFA Midstream.
Graham has always had a passion for trying to get the best out of people and help shape/guide youngsters to achieve all that they can.
Tony Chiloane
Director Infrastructure Development.
Tony worked as an Area Projects Coordinator for the Independent Electoral Commission, where his responsibilities included strategic management, planning, and overseeing the implementation of all electoral projects in the four municipalities. He has spent over two decades advocating for policy changes to reduce economic disparity, stigma, and vulnerability.
Tony previously worked for the City of Tshwane, where he developed a city policy for the integration of refugees and migrants. He also has a lot of experience with community sports and facility management. Tony has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vista University, an Advanced Diploma in Business Management, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Governance and Political Transformation from the University of the Free State, and he is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in the same field.
Masana Maqabe
Project Coordinator of Training and Capacity Development.
Masana is an experienced English and Life Orientation educator at the Community Learning Centre in Sebokeng. She uses her Honours degree in sport, as well as her experience in training, adult education, and employment services, to place community sports in a variety of innovative initiatives across Gauteng.
Masana is deeply motivated to create opportunities for the community and youth to reach their full potential. She is looking into ways to strengthen the capacity of the community to provide sport in order to challenge the status quo and develop skills for high quality results.
Carel Dobby
Marketing and Social Media.
Dobby is a sound designer and engineer. He is a professional in the creation of proper room acoustics as well as the setup of equipment. He has produced a large number of local artists in the country, and it is safe to say that most people are familiar with the recording industry. If not from personal experience, then from movies or other forms of media, in which Dobby has played a role.
Dobby has offered his services to communities in order to promote youth entrepreneurship, advocate for gender equality, and work for social justice and is committed to working with government, media and civil society partners to build inclusive, livable communities.
